Unfortunately I've been sick with a flu bug and lost a few weeks where I was unable to make any real progress on the next chapter.
I've uploaded what I've written so far, and will try to wrap up chapter 176 by the end of the week.

At the very worst they could recycle the black metal, rescue the crews and strip out the weapons, powerplants, shields etc... for putting in new ships

2025-08-01 02:00:36 +0000 UTCPlenty of time for speculation so here goes. What to do with the 10 fleets in the Gally armada. I’m a don’t waste kinda guy. I’d contact the glowing queen and make plans to repair the 16/17 fleets. At worst the metals used by the T normally wouldn’t react with the black metal. Even with Dana modifying the T engines, the mass to weight ratio would be poor but in frictionless space would move the ships when not using Tachyon drives. Still deadly weapons platforms. Use the good fleets to start to tractor beam the wrecks to the star forges. Ten fleets of good ships would be closer to the hyper warp gate if needed. Jumping quickly to investigate the star forges would allow Dana to come up with a better replacement if possible. Having 22k white haired thralls should keep them in line and they could protect the Trank from anything short of a major invasion.

This took a couple of days, at best, to write. It's a great story. I hope he continues, and with great success. I am not willing to fund this s#!+$#0w any further. I'm unsubscribing until 26.
