They mentioned it, way back in the first few episodes, that Yor being 27 and still unmarried is seen as suspicious, and that she might be arrested on suspicion of being a spy. Ergo, if Loid divorces her, she is again at risk of being arrested. This would ruin her career as an assassin, and of course Loid needs her for the Operation Strix, so it behooves them both to keep this marriage together.
