As a second pilot episode....comparing the captains....in my mind.....there was no question that was Kirk's bridge and Kirk's ship. He came across with a swagger and air of authority that Jeffery Hunter just couldn't pull off. Also...communication.....so many surprises for you ahead!!! And the quote was from a 19th Century British politician, Lord Acton. One more thing...Star Trek TOS has the prettiest color of pink for the women's lipstick. Still trying to figure out the color lol.

This episode did deliver what the network wanted -- it's interesting to see your reactions to this pilot compared to the rejected one. It's been fun watching these again with you, even though I've seen all of these episodes about 20 times. LOL
