But I don't know if that's cannon and if it is where you can find it. But there is something to say about how it works. We know from season 1 episode 1 that firebending comes from the breath. The breath becomes energy in the body and we can direct it to make fire. The place of his tattoo is the place of the 6th chakra the thirty eye. We know from the episode the guru that chakras are wells of energy. In this episode, before he fires you see that he does something with his belly. So my theory is that he breaths before shooting and that breath becomes energy. This energy gets concentrated in his third eye chakra and then he releases it through his third eye. Of course this is my theory so I have no clue if this is the way the makers have intended it.

But yes, definitely some good character development from the Fire Gang as well. Also, you are an absolute trooper for getting all that recording done that day.
