Team Update

Hi folks!

It's been a while since our last update, but we've been making a few changes in the background, which brings us to an exciting announcement: The Someone's PC team is expanding!

Over the past couple of years, the life circumstances and schedules of several of our original members have changed significantly, leading to generally less free time and availability to create content. It was time for us to make some changes in order to continue delivering on the promises of Someone's PC. You probably recall a while back we talked about filling out the backlog content, and that's still an ongoing project, which means there will be some months upcoming where you'll see two content releases rather than one!

Starting in August bolstered by the new team members, we should be returning to our former monthly posting schedule, and we know you'll love the content that's on the way! We'd also like to take this chance to hear from you, as we examine our current tier rewards and look at revitalizing the ones that are perhaps a bit stale or unused. To that end, we'd love it if you'd fill out our quick poll here so we can get an idea of what benefits you'd most like to see from Someone's PC. https://forms.gle/fcvde9i5wzs255eT8

Now, without further ado, let's introduce our new team members, many of which you will likely already be familiar with.

For artists, we're pleased to welcome Yurusa, Parooty, and Draconix! These three have contributed plenty of great art to the community at large, and you've seen their work in both guest spotlights and feature pieces here in the past.

For writers, another round of familiar names joins the squad, with Rogue/Wolvesatyourdoor, OctoberFlixard, and Lakuta! All of them are ready to put pen to page and add more to the archive, on top of the awesome work they've already done!

With these new additions, there are a couple of other changes--not a full parting of ways, but a soft retirement: Dark Violet, Canadian Bacon, and Reno will all be moving into SPC alumni roles with the team. They are sticking around and will still contribute to the project here and there, but unfortunately, they lack the time and resources to continue in their regular capacity. Each of them loves the work created together and the SPC team, and they'd like to extend a huge thanks to all of you for all of your support over the past eight years! It really means a lot to the whole team, and we certainly couldn't have come this far without you all. <3

As always, if you have questions or concerns, feel free to drop us a line, either by DM here or through Discord.

Looking forward, expect to see a new release coming soon, featuring Dark Violet and Rogue!

All the best,

~Root
