I have been working pretty hard on the new episodic game mentioned in the previous blog posts, and I wanted to give you a small update of what I'm currently cooking, and a sneak peek!
First, let's introduce our main character...!
His name is Shō, or Shou if your keyboard doesn't know how to apply a little hat to the o! ( ｡ •̀ ⤙ •́ ｡ )
Shō just moved to Central Town with his family, mainly because of his dad's work. He's ̷1̷0̷ ̷y̷e̷a̷r̷s̷ ̷o̷l̷d̷ ̷ almost 11 years old, just a month more! He's a bratty but good-hearted kid that ̷s̷o̷m̷e̷t̷i̷m̷e̷s̷ ̷g̷e̷t̷s̷ ̷i̷n̷ ̷t̷r̷o̷u̷b̷l̷e̷ is always a good boy. ᕙ( •̀ ᗜ •́ )ᕗ
Moving right as summer starts, he leaves all his friends and people he knows behind, and now has to face a summer in the big Central Town (but, Capital Town was bigger anyway!). His new school starts right after the summer break, so at least he has some time to make new friends and s͟k͟i͟p͟ ͟h͟o͟m͟e͟w͟o͟r͟k͟!͟
Who knows, maybe he will find even closer friends than back at his old school...

Hopefully you'll find Shō intriguing and interesting! The in-game assets for him are already done, and since he's the main character, he has a bunch of different expressions and similar.
This week I'll finish the script and dialogues for the first release, and will mainly focus on Shō's arrival to his new home.
Hopefully I'll be able to finish the first release late this month, although holidays might come in the way. I'll keep you updated with small sneak peeks like these!
