Added 2023-10-19 12:00:06 +0000 UTCI think it could be fun to make some 2D game tutorials, since a lot of you seem very creative. I would be using the free edition of Construct3, so everyone can follow along. Please note that I'm a hobbyist and not a pro, lol.

Aww, thank you!! For art-oriented people looking to get into making games, I always recommend RPG Maker MZ for RPGs and Ren'py or Visual Novel Maker for Visual Novels, since they don't require a lot of coding. That's how I started, haha. Construct 3 is also fairly easy to use, but since it's not designed to create just one type of game, you have to build the RPG/visual novel/etc logic yourself. That said, I will probably make a tutorial for it when I get the time, and it does offer more possibilities. If you don't mind coding, Godot Engine is also supposedly very good (and free!). That said, the best way to get into Game Dev is to just start working on a game, making art, and coming up with ideas. You've got this! 💪
