Added 2024-01-29 14:06:01 +0000 UTCAlright! This week was mostly spent fixing some bugs in chapter 4, adding some improvements to the game in general, and thinking about what to do in bonus chapter 4.
A big thank you to Caliburn in the comments of the last devlog for pointing out a bunch of stuff that could be improved!
New Addition 1: Quicker arrows on the start screen
Instead of having to hold the arrows down for a long time to see chapter 4 and beyond, now it just snaps to the next set of chapters.
Before (very slow, have to hold down mouse/finger):
After (faster, now it registers single clicks instead of a hold click):
New Addition 2: Added dialogue log
Long-time devlog followers are probably tired of seeing "Dialogue log system" under things I want to do once I have time. Well, it has finally been done. I know, I know, it only took a few months.
The log box is draggable, so you can move it around the screen.
New Addition 3: Minor fixes to chapter 4
Not as interesting, but I did fix some things like adding the right lower-right cityscape animation and minor grammar fixes.
