New Addition 1: All the logic stuff
Putting in all the signals for animation changes brought the word count from 4,300 to 4,600.
Lmao, I was a bit sloppy with my cropping this time around in the sex scenes, so when I highlight all the sprites in the layout it just looks like a neon nightmare. Don't mind the floating dick.

Looking back on the code, there are definitely more efficient ways to have done some things. Right now, every hover-able thing is its own sprite, but I should have just made one sprite called something like HoverObject that has an instance variable with the name of the thing being hovered. Or at least had just one of those for each layout, like HoverObjectLab or something. That would have been so much cleaner. Now I have to deal with a fuckton of sprites that are invisible anyway, lol. I guess you live and learn.
Another thing I've been thinking about is mobile optimization. Right now, mobile users are missing out on cursor hover text, but I'm not really sure how to fix that. The problem is that it is kind of awkward to have to long-hold/tap an object to read the text box, bc your finger is in the way, you know? Hm...

Okay, since this chapter has very different dialogues depending on what options you pick, it was a little bit difficult for me to proofread and everything. I hope that there are no glaring bugs that I missed ๐ Please, please, please. I think I've lost the ability to notice misspelled things at this point in editing, so...
Alrighty! I think I'm going to unwind by playing some Hades II. Are any of ya'll playing it? It's really fun so far!! :D

2024-05-16 14:28:49 +0000 UTCAh, yeah it's intentional because there wasn't really a way for me to draw all the different tops and the character is wearing a top in the sex scene and in the background sprites. I tried to convey this subtly with the "you change into comfy clothes" line at the beginning of the chapter but maybe it was too subtle >u<
