I particularly appreciate what you write philippe... A few years ago, so in love with Thailand, I didn't even consider watching other BLs than Thai BLs... And then there was "Light on me" and "Semantic error"... So Great these two BL !... It's not that I've learned to like the Korean BL, it's that I've really understood what the Koreans offer that is different... And it's so good... And "Where your eyes linger" is one of them...

Contrary to some people here, this wasn’t my first Korean BL… I saw Wish You and Light on Me first. I liked those series, but I was like, “mmm… I’m missing something here.” Then I watched this one, and I really began to appreciate what Korean BLs can do. I'm glad this was the first Korean BL! They did amazing with this. The pacing is good, the story centers on the couple, and the few side characters do their part just fine. I’m not usually a fan of the short format (I’m one of those people who likes never-ending series and books), but here it works very well. The acting is amazing… the gazes are outstanding, and the characters say everything that needs to be said without words. The relationship is really complex, with a 15-year background that isn’t shown directly but still carries a lot of weight in the story. Even if the conflict seems “simple,” that background, the social context, and the incredible acting elevate it and make it both enjoyable and deep. The first time I watched it, it felt strange to see these Korean guys talking so openly about their feelings. They’re not Japanese, but Korean people aren’t that far behind when it comes to being emotionally reserved. At first I thought it was just the short format that made the “I like you” talk come so quickly. But now, watching again, it makes sense: these two friends grew up together, spent almost every moment glued to each other (they’ve even slept together most of their lives!), so of course they’d be able to have that kind of conversation more "naturally" (and suffer because of it). All conflict in this series is so well scripted and portrayed. I’m definitely enjoying the second watch a lot more than the first! Saludos a todos!

Yeah, it’s the same for me. I find Korean name is particularly difficult to remember. This seems odd since the Korean language is so elegantly put together and simple in many ways.

Ahhh, these Korean names… I’ll never be able to remember them! Today, Friday the 5th, I tried to recall just one Korean character’s name from any of the countless K-dramas I’ve watched, and I couldn’t remember a single one!!!! XD Of course, if someone just spell one for me, I would then remember and know from what series it is, but for me to generate a name... nope. I have something, an internal beef with Korean names... I remember Chinese or Thai ones (the official ones!) pretty well.
