I think the biggest thing that makes a process enjoyable to me is maintaining a good level of unpredictability where you don't control exactly everything, but you still don't feel like you're completely lost at any stage Also varying up your process occasionally helps keep you stimulated, so if you're feeling slightly burnt out try to experiment a bit (but preferably not too much because that can discourage you as well lol)

When I see the art that appeals to me I feel like doing art immediately, but when I finally sit down to make art that energy is gone. When I do get to do some art I think about results a lot instead of enjoying the process.
