To my $1 Patrons, please read.

There's something I'd like to discuss with my wonderful $1 patrons. I've just introduced a $2 tier. This tier was created not only as I need more monetary support but because your $1 pledges simply are not being respected by the various fees that come after them. For every $1 pledge, I only receive $0.67. That means for my $1 patrons, almost half of what you pledge to me I never actually see. On the other hand for a $2 pledge, I'll get $1.64 after fees. That means if you were to increase your pledge by a dollar, I would also receive roughly a dollar more than I do currently!

Currently I have $340 pledged on Patreon, but that's before the various fees get taken out. Most of my patrons are pledged to the $1 tier. If everyone currently pledged for $1 upgraded to $2, my income would increase significantly and while still a ways away from being stable, it would help greatly.

For those currently pledged to the $1 tier, it's of course not going anywhere, and I appreciate every last one of you who pledge that much and will continue to pledge that much. It just sucks to know just how much of it that I'm sure you intend to go to me actually doesn't. All I can do is ask; If you can spare another dollar a month, please consider the new $2 tier I've added.
