Sunday dev screenshot (week 47)

This week has been mostly about changes and additions in code, particularly in the battle system department, and so here is an image showing one of the features we're working on.

If you look at the Defeated icon for Mine (girl in the middle), you'll see that there's a number 4 on it. This number shows the level of the tie, which indicates how difficult it is to free her. This was also a feature in Didnapper 1, although it was somewhat obscure due to a lack of visual cues, plus that it's a feature that now also can affect party members.

In the screenshot you can also see the skill Secure Ropes being used on her by Seles. That's the same skill that was in Didnapper 1, and it increases the level of the target's tie, making it harder for them to struggle free or be rescued. This will not be the only skill that affects tie level, and we have planned to make certain weapons and passive skills/abilities affect it too, as well as the tie level affecting for example the Enjoy(ment) skill (that Carol had in Didnapper 1) to make it heal more the higher the tie level is, and so on :)

Oh, and the number 3 on Mina's sleep state is how many more turns it lasts before it goes away.

We are currently fighting a problem we're having with the number not showing for party members. Poor Aden here is for example supposed to have a number 2 showing on her icon, but the battle HUD is not agreeing with us at the moment. We'll try to have that fixed as soon as possible! :)

This is Awesome. I am glad to be able to witness this site and to use the DID versions. Please tell me if there will be anything made additionally with escape challenges or that ideas can be shared.
