Thoughts
Added 2018-09-16 03:31:13 +0000 UTCI am not good at managing my time and energy sometimes. It definitely affects my time spent on things. I really need to make a habit of switching types of projects and/or taking breaks for a bit now and then. That's kind of what I've been doing the last week or two, to kind of get myself in the right mindset of "slow and steady wins the race". You sprint all the time, and you spend a bunch of time walking while huffing and puffing too. But anyway, I just wanted to let you guys know I'm still around and actively working on things.
I do need to say this much: after I finish this Mercy/DVa thing, I have a really strong desire to work on projects involving original characters and concepts. Furthermore, I'd like to make sure I'm not too hasty to jump on/commit too heavily to an idea before I'm sure I want to do it wholeheartedly. I'm still finishing this because I've hyped the shit out of it, restarted it once, got custom VA for it, etc. But the long story short of all this is that I'm learning to not be a doormat and start making my own decisions. In this case, that means not just committing to an idea so fast to make a large group of fans happy. How can I put my heart and soul into something I don't fully enjoy? Trick question, of course.
I'm gonna get this all done. Just at my own pace. Sorry if that's disappointing to anyone, but it's for my own mental health and ability to not burn out all the time. Thanks guys.

It's understandable, take your time, you can't rush perfection.
