Got fired.
Added 2018-09-21 14:28:39 +0000 UTCFired-fired, not laid off. Knife in the back and all that good shit over a few days of leaving early, nothing serious. Easy to forget that corporate life is filled with people who are legitimately brainwashed, even if they otherwise have all the makings of a good, independent person. Oh well.
Anyway, that's irrelevant. There's a decent chance I'll have more free time, but I do need to aggressively job hunt for now. Only have rent for the end of this month in line, can't afford to stall too much. With any luck, I can get better pay now that I've learned to assert myself over the last year. Given that I can program, that's fairly likely.
But yeah, thanks for your help as always. I'll hang in there the best I can.
