The spring quality of Yangmingshan Hot Spring is mainly white sulfur spring, followed by green sulfur spring. The hot springs are concentrated in Cave 6 and Cave 7 at the western foot of Shamao Mountain. There are quite a few places where you can take a bath, including the hot spring area in Yangmingshan Park, Lengshuikeng, Manger, and (Fire) Gengziping. Due to the frequent volcanic and geothermal movements, the mineral composition entrained by the hot springs in each area is different, making each hot spring area have different spring quality, water temperature, and curative effect, each with its own characteristics.
陽明山溫泉泉質主要以白磺泉為主，青磺泉次之。溫泉散佈較集中在紗帽山西麓的六窟、七窟間，可以泡湯的地方相當多，包括陽明山公園一帶的溫泉區、冷水坑、馬槽、（火）庚子坪等四個區域，由於火山地熱運動相當頻繁，各區域內溫泉伴隨所夾帶的礦物成分不同，使得每個溫泉區域泉質、水溫、療效都不同，各俱特色。
