5 Protective Houseplants!

Good afternoon Moon babes! Today I wanted to start sharing some of my favorite houseplants that double as wards / protection!!

1. Aloe - The number one plant I recumbent is ALOE!!! This is an amazing plant to sit on your altar for protection, healing, it represents prosperity, and good luck. This is an amazing plant to dedicate to your ancestors/ deities/ guides, ask them to bless the plant and if the plant starts becoming dull in color then you know it is absorbing negative energy being sent your way, and if its thriving you’re doing fine! (You can dedicate any plant to spirits, just make sure they like the plant and are okay with the transaction.) If you don’t have a whole aloe plant to put on your altar you can always grab one or two of the aloe leaves from a whole food shop and place them on your altar it will have the same effect.
2. Cacti - Cacti of ANY kind, first off these dudes are super easy to take care of and are low macitence! Pick something that’s really prickly and looks like it would hurt a LOT to grab. The spikes act as a natural ward and protection for your plant, take it one step further and ward it off for your space, give your plant a job, It’ll have your back! This plant is also really amazing for banishing workings! Keep those spikes!
3. Peace Lilly - Peace Lilly! I just bought one of these gorgeous babies for my office and am really pleased with it so far! This plant is really amazing to add a calming energy into your space, this is also great for grounding, and giving you a personal boost of strength, and balancing energy in the space!
4. Philodendron - My personal favorite is the hope philodendron! This is also associated with Aphrodite and is known for its love properties and its ability to raise the vibrations to create a happier space!
5. Snake Plants- Snake plants are the go to plant I tell anyone and everyone to get when they are looking for a houseplant. They are incredibly durable plants that need little light and little water, however they are a POWERHOUSE! They are amazing air purifiers and also spiritual purifiers. They represent and bring more healing energy, luck, personal strengths, and protection into your space!

I personally like to add sigils, seashells, crystals, and rocks into the soil with my plants for an added boost of protection or whatever associated intentions I want to boost as the plant grows! When watering time comes I use part moon water and normal water, while I water them I speak words of affirmations to my plants. ( It might sound odd but they truly respond well to it and grow so much!)
