First Of The Month Candle Spell Or Money Bowl

Good afternoon moon babes! August is upon us and that means we have another 1st of the month approaching. Some of us spiritualists might find ourselves wanting to do some money and abundance workings and for this post I wanted to show a “simple” money bowl that you can use as a candle spell as well if you would like! There are a TON of other money related posts on here for your reference if you would like to do a floor wash, a door wash, ancestor candle or ect for the first as well!

Money bowls are really fun to have, they are something you want to continuously “work” you will be putting items and taking them out all month long, feeding the spell as you see fit. This keeps the energy of the spell fresh and money flowing your way all month (Or however long you keep this bowl spell going for) long. As the days and weeks go by add new herbs, spray the bowl with cinnamon spray, leave it an offering of alcohol, addd tobacco, more money, coins, even take coins or dollar bills from the working as the days past. Normally you would not want to take money from a working or spirit once you've placed it down but money bowls are different, they need to be constantly flowing, new energy coming and going.

Reminder, for the list of items I put in this “things you’ll need” you do not need to include all of the items, I am listing a bunch of items you can utilize, replace or omit any you'd like! I have a mix of money drawing, abundance, success, wealth, sustainability, and attraction herbs for this

How To Cast:

Cleanse yourself, your home, your tools, and I would make sure to lay offerings, blow your cinnamon through your front door and do any money floor washes you might like doing before putting this money bowl together Money Bowls can be put together a plethora of ways, so if you want to try a different method please do! I like to start off by burning a money matrix or Clove incense and setting it down on my altar / the place I will be making this money bowl. I personally like to keep my money bowl in its own bowl then make a separate plate for my candle spell (If I want to do one with the bowl) so then you can read and easily remove the wax without getting it on your coins or other items in your money bowl. Cleanse your hands spiritually with clean running water and either cinnamon powder or you can use holy water to pray that any stagnant or negative energy that your hands may hold  be stripped and removed, carried away from your home swiftly. Thank the flowing water then move on with your money ritual!

Get your money rice, it will already be spelled from the practitioner you got it from (or from when you made it if you’re a hoodoo’ist) and place it on the base of your money bowl this will be the first layer, Spend some time manifesting with this rice, it will attract and absorb the energy and frequency of money and abundance towards your bowl and home. Once your race is at the bottom of your money bowl then begin adding your herbs one by one. With your herbs spend time activating them for each purpose, dill could be used for luck or abundance, or you could activate it for evil eye protection while you draw money towards you. Decide what you want each herb to help you with for this specific money spell and program that into your herb before placing it into the money bowl.

After all of your herbs have been activated, energy has been pushed into them, and they are added into your money bowl, take your crystals and do the same. I like telling them exact numbers I am trying to gain from this working and also the timeframe I want to get them by, allowing the working to understand your time frame is important. Telling spirit what you need and what you are willing to happen is very important in spells especially when it comes to money, jobs, opportunities ect.

Once all herbs and crystals are in your bowl now it is time to add coins and money. This can be any denomination you and your ancestors use or recognize, you can dress the money or coins however you'd like. I personally like to feed my coind and money alcohol before working like this but that is a practice more rooted in ART’s, similarly to that while making this I always have a white candle burning for spirit - again that is more a hoodoo practice, but is not a closed thing to do.

Drop fast money, manifestation oil, the attraction, or money oil on the coins (keep straight oil off bills as sometimes this can damage the bills and some stores are odd about taking crazy looking money), once your coins are ready place them in your bowl as well. You can add shiny items, items that remind you of wealth or abundance in there as well as finishing touches and if you are not burning any candles along with this you can move onto your final step.

If you are not burning candles with this money bowl you can grab you incense and begin wrapping the smoke around the money bowl feeding the smoke of the incense to the spirit of the working, as you wrap your incense smoke around the money bowl recite the spell below 5 times. Place the bowl on your altar or in the heart of your home, remember to add and take things from your bowl as you see fit. If you would like to add more sugar, ginger, sprays of cinnamon spray, leave a burning incense for your bowl do so!

If you want to burn candles with this, use green, yellow, orange, red, or gold for this, dress the candles with the same oils and herbs you did as your money bowl and etch your name or you and everyone in your home's name into the candles. Attach your candles to the fireproof dish and add a thin layer of money rice to the bottom of the fireproof dish. Light the spell candles as you recite the below spell 5 times. (You could use a variation of the colors, I like yellow and orange for job/client/road opening/business spells, green for overall wealth and abundance, the red could be used for strength or attracting ect!)

In a realm where doors stand open wide waiting for me,

Opportunities flow, an abundant tide towards me continuously,

Wealthy winds whisper, embracing me fully in the night.

My path is paved with gold, destiny's demands,

Success embraces me, boundlessly free.

With open arms, abundance I embrace it back,

As riches find solace in my embrace, I walk towards my highest good abundantly protected.
