Stinging Nettle One Spell Ingredient Candle Spell / Or Herbal Plate: Ward Off Evil Eye

Stinging Nettle One Spell Ingredient Candle Spell / Or Herbal Plate: Ward Off Evil Eye

Good afternoon moon babes! Today I wanted to share a spell I created and performed last month! We centered August’s patreon boxes (for the tiers that get them) around Stinging nettle, and thought this would be perfect to share with everyone as many of you now have either the herbal form or the spelled oils I created and sent out.

Stinging nettle can be used spiritually for:

-Warding off evil and negativity

-Uncrossings

-Courage

-Balance

-Rejuvenation

-Lust

-Strength

-Warding

-Banishing

-Will power

-Fertility

-Reverse hexes

-Consecration

-Healing

-Purification

-Dispelling fear

-Growth

-Protection

I like doing protection workings on Saturdays, but honestly you can do this working any time you want, during any moon phase.

Things you’ll need:

-Stinging nettle in any form, water, oil, herb

- A white or blue chime candle of any size, preferably chime or tea light

-Fireproof dish

-If you want to make this a bath use an organza bag/strainer

-You can also make this into a door wash by boiling water and the herb then straining it and using a white cloth to wash the door down with the infused water and chant the spell below.

-Similarly ^ you can do this with a floor wash and chant the spell while you are mopping your floor with the infused water.

How To Cast:

For this you want to do your normal pre-spell cleansings - I like to quickly pick up my home of physical items, then spiritually cleanse the whole house with either smoke or bells. Moving on to cleansing my hands prior to my spellwork (this is entirely up to you) I use holy water and kananga water for this and will pray with my ancestors and the running clean water.

Then I will move to my altar cleansing and lighting all of the appropriate candles for any spirits I might want to call down for this ritual. Once their candles are light I also lay offerings, depending on the ritual the offerings change, however for this a nice coffee or alcohol offering would be amazing, or if you have kananga water add a little bowl of that onto the altar and put a pinch of the Stinging nettle (Or 4 drops of the oil if you have it) into the kananga water bowl.

Once offerings are laid out you can begin prepping your candle or vessel for this spell. If you are making this into a herbal plate or bowl I recommend you leave it near your front door up high somewhere, if you are doing this prep the plate by cleansing it then placing a sigil underneath the plate for protection and reflecting.

If you are using a candle cleanse the candle with your tool of choice, I like using the holy water here then will go in with anointing the candle with my Stinging Nettle Oil, praying with the oil to reflect and ward off all evil eye energy that finds itself in my path. Then I will activate the Stinging nettle herb between my hands before placing it onto the candle dressing it with herbs. Attach your candle to your fireproof dish and sprinkle some of the Nettle herb on the bottom of your plate, once you are ready to light your candle do so and chant the below spell 4 times.

Ward Off Evil Eye Spell:

I my shield myself against jealousy, envy, ill thoughts, and the evil eye,

Jealousy's thorns  can not reach my aura or light.

Warding off envy's grasp, my in inner light shines brightly unreachable.

Those with jealousy poison touch in their grasp, may their energy and envy be reflected back in their greedy clasps.

May this spell not turn on me, and only harm the ones who wish harm on me.

Allow the candle to burn down entirely and pay attention to the wax, oftentimes it will be VERY telling who or what the evil eye energy is coming from if there is any.

Let me know how you guys like this one herb spell, I know you guys tend to like these “simple” spells a lot and they are still super effective!

XOXO

Anastasia
