The Veil Is THIN Protection Spell Jar:

Protection spell jar to protect and shield you from bad / Negative spirits lurking around you or your space. During this time of year the veil is extremely thin, making it a great time to communicate and be with ancestors or learn about spirits and their energies that you might not be able to access as easily when the spiritual realm is not as close as it feels it is now. This will stop any spirits or energies from peeking, lurking, watching, or otherwise while you cast your rituals and divine.

WHAT YOU NEED:

-Angelica root- prevents curses, uncrosses you, clearing, protection, and warding off evil spirits.

-Bergamont

-Birch

-Black pepper - protection, banishing, sheileding.

-Blackthorn - transforming negative energy, protection against negative spirits, dispel negativity.

-Burdock root- uncrossing,removing negative energies, courage,  protection, purification,

-Clove -  dominance, luck, protection, evil eye warding,

-Frankincense resin - cleansing, healing, purification.

-Hyssop - purifying, healing.

-High John - Personal Power, protection, better luck.

-Marshmallow root - cleansing, calling good spirits to your space,  protection, 3rd eye work.

-Mistletoe - from negative spells and others Magick, vigour, empowermint.

-Peppermint - protection, abundance, healing, purification.

-Stinging Nettle - Healing, warding, protection, keeping unwanted spirits away from your space, strength.

-Protection petition

-Jar with lid

-Black chime candle

-Red chime candle

-Fiery wall of protection oil / evil eye reversal oil / protection oil

-Dragons blood spray- strength, protection, personal power.

HOW TO CAST:

Cleanse your space fully, spiritually and make sure to pick up any piles of things cluttering around, I find that when theres clutter its easier for stagnant or negative energies to hide within it. Feeding in with the clutter, even if you only set aside 5 minutes to clean up a little before your ritual do so! Go thought your home back to front and spiritually cleanse it, using smoke sound, sprays, anything you'd like, raising the energy of your space before you start your protection working.

Once your space is cleansed and prepared I personally always prepare my hands, you can do this by wrapping them in your incense smoke or simply running them under clean fresh water and praying with the water to cleanse and purify your hands, carrying the unwanted water and spirits far from your home.

Protection petition- for this we want to prep a piece of petition paper for this working, I like to do this first after I have cleansed my space and prepared my hands for spiritual work. Grab a piece of paper, rip all of the man made edges from the sides leaving jagged edges. Then place a dot of your fiery wall of protection oil into each of the corners and rub the oil into the paper. While you are doing this pray with your ancestors for their continued unwavering protection spiritually and their guidance, you can pray with your deities, the spirits of the herbs were going to be using ect. Once the paper has the oil and energy put into it you can either scribe a protection sigil or write a petition out to your spirits. Wherever you feel is most needed / what you have spoons for here. Once your petition paper is ready fold it towards you and place it underneath your spell jar.

Now it is time to start working on the jar itself, I love these because we can truly make them however you'd like. Sometimes I like to activate and pray over my herbs in a large bowl and mix them with my hands, combining them and willing my intent into them then placing the mixed up herbs into the spell jar all together. Or, pick the herbs up one by one, activate them for their spiritual purpose for this spell (given above) then placing each herb into the jar in layers. Once all of your herbs are prayed over/ activated and in your jar I like to then either utilize a bell or the dragons blood over the spell jar and then will light a corresponding protection incense to empower the candle flame that we are about to light.

Seal your jar and place your candle over your jar to let the wax seal it, bonus points if you etch your name into the candle and anoint it with the fiery wall of protection oil. Let the candle burn over the jar completely then place on your altar for 24 hours to charge, from here you can place your spell jar wherever you’d like, you can shake it to bring more energy to your spell or place another activated sigil under your jar. Speaking of sigils, now that your spell jar is done burn your petition paper and save it for black salt later!

As you are sealing the candle with your wax recite the spell below 4 times.
