They really went all out with the 90s hit music this episode. Idk if you have seen the same commercial we have had in America with the sad slow motion views of shelter dogs who need homes but in America they used the same song in the commercial that they played in this episode and a lot of us just think of that commercial alone when hearing the song lol. “Angel” from Sarah McLachlan.

You saying she 'adapts and changes' isn't something i know, you're speaking from a perspective of having seen the entire show. She hasn't done anything based on what I've seen to make her seem like a great character or even close

2024-08-21 06:17:53 +0000 UTCAs far as you not liking Grams, hopefully that’ll change. They said she was borderline racist in that birthing episode but didn’t outright say she was. She’s up there near top for characters throughout the seasons. She’s got her beliefs but she adapts and changes.

2024-08-21 03:49:50 +0000 UTCThis show was the first I ever really became obsessed with back when I discovered it in high school nearly 20 years ago (I own all 6 seasons on dvd if that tells you anything). I was very curious what someone who’d never seen it before would think watching in 2024- and I’m kind of pleasantly surprised! Yes there is obviously tons of cringe- Dawson’s whole character- but there is that level of self-awareness within the writing that makes it more palatable I think. And also this show did 1000% pave the way for all the many teen dramas that came after like OTH and the O.C. I’m excited for you to get into s2 as there are some good storylines that were pretty major for the time period. And as you’ve heard s3 is *chef’s kiss*
