Yesterday, I participated in a 5 km race, without preparation, just trying to beat my mark from 5 years ago. I started to feel nervous when I was at the finish line, I didn't have music on hand, so I used this audio to accompany me on my way. I beat my time by 15 minutes, and I think it was because I felt like I had a friend who was just encouraging me and trying to distract me (with naughty comments) from the fatigue I was accumulating. Thank you, Hank, for running with me even if you really didn't.

The response did indeed make sense and happy to hear that learning/soul growth isn't dead, though knowing how much heart, soul and improvement you have made to your audios over the years, I am not surprised this extends to the rest of life as well. Can't say I wasn't a tiny bit disappointed that a lifetime subscription to the world of cheese didn't make the cut but I guess that's the way the feta crumbles! ;D Always a pleasure to listen, whether 2 hours, 20 questions, quick rambles or silent jam sessions.

I particularly enjoyed hearing your thoughts on energy, because they mirror the scientific law of the Conservation of Energy that says there's a finite amount of energy in the universe. And so, it can neither be created or destroyed. It merely changes into another form. I very much like the idea that nothing truly disappears forever. We may no longer be able to see or touch something (including a person), but their energy, their essence is never really gone. It simply changed into another form. I think that's a beautiful thing! It reminds me of my favorite Carl Sagan quote, "The cosmos is within us. We are made of star stuff. We are a way for the universe to know itself."
