2021-11-16 12:28:44 +0000 UTCmirajane never got deranked from s class, she just lost her will to fight after lisanna's death and after so long of not using her powers she didn't think it was even possible to use it ever again. same thing for elfman btw only he was scared of the beast soul taking over again and end up hurting the ones close to him. and their power is called takeover power as explained in ep 2 with the vulcans and in the battle against phantom lord where elfman attempted a full body takeover.
