I LOVE this arc! Like you said they feels a lot like family here. Otae asking help how to handle shinpachi's puberty's phase, Gintoki not allowing kagura to hear it. I love them (and the shinsengumi too that will join later). Ps: the cherry blossom eps was aired on Gintama anime premier on Jump Festa 2004. This is the first time they run it in anime time slot, that's why you haven't seen it but they said it's a rerun.
