Wake Up Samurai Color

I wanted to try a... simpler coloring scheme. A less-is-more sort of deal. I didn't quite manage to hold myself back. The lettering just SCREAMED the need for backlight. Lit up like a neon sign. But I managed to keep the rest... pretty close to flat colors. There's some minor shading in there, but not a lot.

I think I like it.

I couldn't Stop Myself(tm) from messing around with it some more, so made some minor tweaks: fixed the anarchy symbol, lightened the pants color, etc. I also thought I'd show off some of the alternative levels of "render." Everything from flat colors to a more complete comic render. I guess I could have gone even further with it, but this piece really lends itself to a less rendered color style. Trying for realism would just look weird.
