It's August (cough), so have another journal!

Hello there, everyone!  I hope you guys are having a great... September.  (I wrote this back in August, but I forgot to post it... sooo... I'll count this for August... hah.)

So, last year, I worked on a Fire Emblem fan book, which took quite some time and a lot of resources.  I don't think it would be wise to work on something similar this year, so I'll probably put off doing another art book for another year or two.

In turn, I have two main projects that I'm working on!  (And a side project.)  One that I plan on finishing by the end of this year, and the other I plan on finishing by next year.

Project 1 - FE3H Charms

I want to go to some local cons in the upcoming year, which means I need merchandise!  So, what better merchandise to make than a game that just recently came out (and that I really like)?

I plan on making charms for about 30 characters (Byleth M/F, Sothis, and the students from each house).  At the moment, I have 4 of them done, and it's taking quite a bit of time, haha.  But I want to finish them by late September, so that I can start opening up pre-orders.

Project 2 - Treegirl Visual Novel

I've talked about this a couple of times, and I'm very slowly working on it.  Right now, I have a small list of characters that I'd like to have in the game (along with the romance-able heroines), and I'm writing an outline of how I'd want their routes to go.

BUT, I'll tell you guys a summary of what I have so far.  The main character (you) is an ordinary guy who's currently going to college for... some major.  He goes camping often, so of course, one day when he camps, he encounters a... girl?  A tree girl?  Wha?  Anyway, he's a little dubious about the situation, but he takes her back with him.  And... uh... suddenly, in the middle of the night, she transforms into a miniature version of a redwood tree.  Now he's convinced.  She's definitely a tree girl.  So, the main character is set on a quest to get this girl back into her original form (a tree), and along the way, he encounters... other tree girls hidden in society.

It's meant to be a wildly strange and comedic story, but I hope people will still be able to fall in love with the characters themselves.  :)

Project 3 - Comic?

I think I talked about this before, kinda, but I'm going to make a short comic about random bits of my life.  Just for fun, and so that I can also have some practice with paneling and composition.  I initially aimed for the beginning of this month to start posting it, but... uh, things came up last month and so I'll post a few pages here and there towards the end of the month (or sooner)!

Patreon Plans & Updates

I think some of you guys may have noticed, but I've been doing a looot of NSFW works this past month.  I really want to do more (because they're fun and because I improve a lot faster on anatomy/posing/etc this way), so hopefully I'll continue this trend in the future.  I also want to do... d... doujins, which may help me out financially!  Hahahaha.

I also want to do more Live2D stuff, since I haven't worked with it for several months now (other than some commissions).  So, that's also on the back of my mind as I'm working on things.  :)

Also, for a few things that I've already changed or am thinking about changing:

• In the future, monthly illustration suggestions (both SFW and NSFW) will be a single post with a link to an anonymous google form.  The reason why I'm doing this is because (1) some people could be uncomfortable with having their name attached to their suggestion, and (2) it's condensed to one single post instead of two, so less spam.
• The tier names are will be switched around.  Previously, it would be "Teadot" and "Teadot (SFW only)", but I think it would be more intuitive as "Teadot (R18+)" and "Teadot"... maybe?
• I'll be removing source files from the rewards list.  However, for the $20+ tiers, feel free to ask me for the source files and I'll be happy to provide them.  The reason being that it's time consuming to prepare all of the files for that month, so it'd be easier to just do them on a demand basis.
