Update on the monthly reward thing, I'll be sending those out prooobably at the end of today!  So unless there's problems with Patreon's DMs ('cause I noticed last month, for the mass sending, it took some time), everyone should be getting it by then. :)

I also modified some of the tier rewards (nothing removed other than the personal requests for the specific tiers) and added info on the early access stuff outside of art:

• Really minor, but all the tier stuff is condensed to "everything from X tiers" instead of copying and pasting everything out
• All tiers will have access to the private request streams on Discord (or whatever future platform I'll do)
• UC ★★ and above tiers will have early access to comics/webtoons
• R ★★★ and above tiers will have access to production updates (visual novels, games, etc.)

PATREON NEWS

I'll be sending out this month's rewards along with last month's requests soon!  And aaaalso will post the monthly poll soon.  Sorry for the wait everyone, I've just basically been busy/AWOL for the past two weeks because of the holidays.

ALSO, if you didn't receive a month's reward for some reason, don't hesitate to let me know!  Feels bad to say this, but Patreon's notification system is a little derpy sometimes, and they removed one of the pages I used to keep track of who I did and didn't contact yet, so sometimes people fall through the cracks. :(

>> PATREON REQUEST CHANGES

So, as I said in the past journal and in the DMs, there are no more personal requests for the 2★ and 3★ tiers.  The 4★ and 5★ tiers will still have monthly personal requests.

In lieu of this, I'll start doing monthly Patreon streams on Discord.  AT THE MOMENT, I don't really have an idea of how to do private streams (aka. Patreon-exclusive) without using Discord, but I'll do more research on it.  If anyone has suggestions for it too, let me know and I'll take it into consideration!

SO!  General info on the Patreon-exclusive streams:

• I'll most likely do it every 20th for a minimum of 2 hours.  It'll be announced a few days beforehand, in case the date changes, BUT I'll try my best to keep it on the same day every month
• If you join the Discord server, you should still have access to the Patreon category/channels regardless of having access to the rest of the server
• There'll be a chat channel open if anyone wants to talk, or if anyone wants to suggest a drawing.  I'll doodle or draw things based on what people suggest

I've been wondering this for a while, but I wanted to eventually switch to (1) showing people's Patreon display names and (2) hiding people's last names if it's visible on their Patreon display name.  I'll implement this starting February 2021, BUT if you have any concerns about this, lemme know as a response to this post.

Moving forward, the monthly art polls will be limited to non-OCs.  This is kinda a grey area, but here are a few things you can consider to be non-OCs:  established series characters, independent characters, popularized designs.  If you'd like to ask if a suggestion is valid for the polls, feel free to ask via Patreon DMs OR you can just submit them into the form anyway, and I'll make the decision when I post the polls.

It's been a kinda strange year, BUT now we're in 2021!  I've been thinking a lot about how I want to move forward with my art stuff, and what I want to do in the future.  I spoke a lot about it with my boyfriend, and there's a few things I've decided on.

>> SWITCHING FOCUS FROM COMMISSIONS TO OTHER THINGS

I've been focusing a lot on commissions, and only recently did I realize that I needed to lay off of it in order to focus on some other things that I feel like I don't have enough time for, but want to do.  That means I'll be taking on less commissions, changing my commission prices to accommodate for the demand, and scheduling in more time for everything else.

What I'd like to focus on this year:

• Patreon: Towards the end of the year, the amount of personal/Patreon artwork I created kinda petered out.  I'd like to make more artwork for Patreon, including NSFW art (yay)!  So I'll try to meet a private quota every month, for both SFW and NSFW artwork.
• Merchandise: I need to start working on merchandise again.  Unfortunately, because of the world situation, I probably won't be able to (safely) attend conventions for the next year or so, but I can probably start on selling merchandise.  So... yeah... right now my goal is to release a set of merchandise every 3 months.
• A visual novel: THAT ONE VISUAL NOVEL I TALKED ABOUT A LITTLE BIT IN THE PAST!  I'm really stubborn and usually don't like accepting help from other people.  BUT, I realized that I really should be focusing on my own strengths, and paying people to do things that I'm not good at or at things that would take more time away from making art.  SO, for "that" visual novel, I'll be working on managing the project, programming, and all of the artwork, and I'll hire people to work on the writing, music, and GUI (and anything else needed).  I'll also start on update posts for Patreon, that way I can get feedback (probably moreso on the artwork in the beginning) and keep you all in the loop.
• A webtoon: AAAND ANOTHER STORY THAT I'VE TALKED ABOUT IN THE PAST!  I'm gonna start working on a personal webtoon, and I'm gonna aim for a chapter every month.  The chapters will be (hopefully) 20ish panels, and will be published earlier on Patreon than on Webtoons (a minimum of a week before going public).  I primarily want to do this because this is a story I've been wanting to tell for a long time, and also it would also force me to (1) draw more backgrounds and (2) be more conscious of composition.
