Dr Brightman, Star Powered Sentinel

She never was jealous of Danica's new-found powers, but if you think she wouldn't have jumped at the chance to be a Sentinel... oh, you mistake her poise for a lack of passion.

Hahaha. We were, for more than a few people, a webcomic dream team and I think we did something really cool with Star Power.

2023-08-11 18:08:08 +0000 UTCSo fun story, in 2010 I took a trip to visit a friend who was going to Howard law, and part of the trip was for us to check out this brand new convention starting called "Intervention con". One day while I was there I walked up to a table and saw the two people I was most excited to meet there, You and Micheal, leaned over and speaking to each other in hushed tones. You got up to leave as I approached, saying you'd be in touch. As I walked over Micheal could clearly see my eyes growing wide as I started to say: "...are you to going to work-" Then Micheal, firmly but politely, cut me off with a shush. He swore me to secrecy not tell anyone you too might be doing a secret project together. Then a year too later, Star Power popped up. So anyways that's a story about a time I felt like I had seen top secret documents years before they were declassified lol.

2023-08-10 01:02:40 +0000 UTCOne thing that I always loved in Star Power was how competent the side characters were, such that you could actually believe they deserved to be stationed at a top-of-the-line facility like Sanctuary Six. And Dr Brightman was no exception - while I think Danica was probably the best pick Mitch could have made, Brightman would have likely made for a good Star Powered Sentinel as well.
