Out of the Office

I’m going to be out of the office for a bit this week as I finally get to redo the whole thing.

Like so many artists, I’ve spent my whole career making do with what space I could. I’ve always made sure to have the tools I needed to do the work, but the space itself has often been whatever spare room was available full of whatever furniture I could fit in there. Much of it things I acquired at the start some 20 years ago.

But I’ve now reached a kind of amazing point in my career where I have managed enough success that I can afford to make the space what I truly want it to be. It also helps that my wife also works and we don’t have kids. So with this new-found feeling of what I can only assume is Adult Money, I’m giving my work space a long over due transformation.

This does mean I’ll be a little quieter on the art this week, but I’ll be doing a whole lot of writing! I’ve got some great scenes coming up in A Polycule of Mars, and there’s several other projects I’ve been meaning to come back to and write down. I’m really excited to share them with you all!
