HALO WARS 2 AWAKENING THE NIGHTMARE CINEMATICS AND E3 TRAILERS!

You guys let me know that Awakening The Nightmare was a thing so here it is! You also told me about the Halo Wars E3 Trailer so I've included it in this video. I give a little breakdown on it but not a full one.

Thanks to this being a Patreon video, I get to leave the main song in the Halo Wars E3 Trailer, YouTube tried slapping me with copyright warning so YouTube have the outside the nightclub sound effect. Welcome to the clubs boys!

It's interesting because in film, sound is 70%. But in commercials or ads for online, the same rules apply but you've also got to make it visually tell a story or sell a product without audio. Reason being is audiences watch a lot of stuff with audio off. It's mind blowing tbh.

I'll have to add it to my list. Once I've got a few more amazing people like yourself I can then start doing the poll system on here and you guys can choose what I put up next on the channel. I've recorded The Halo video you asked for. I'll start editing it when I'm back from a short break.

One other thing I wanted to put out there; I don't want to inundate you with requests or suggestions as I'm sure you already have a lot on your plate to go through, but, I would love to see you eventually react to the "Tom Clancy's The Division -- Take Back New York E3 Trailer". Out of all the game trailers and cinematics I've seen, it struck me as one of the most emotionally compelling; especially post-Covid (you'll understand why that's relevant if you eventually see it). They used a really clever storytelling technique as well that I can't quite say that I've ever seen in anything else and it came together to be one of the most unique and emotional cinematics I've ever seen.

Good stuff! Your analysis regarding the camera movement on Cutter and Atriox representing them being in control in the E3 Trailer was something I never previously put together, but it makes total sense in hindsight. Also; 100% yes to sound being much more vital with horror. Like you said, a lot of horror can get away with darker visuals, but, sound design needs to absolutely be on point to compensate and keep the audience interested and engaged.
