Vaylin, the daughter, isn't a kid with a loaded gun, she's a kid with a loaded tank!

Oh, I remember this one, but in a 'sadder' sense than the other SW trailers. More of a 'trying to suppress/forget' kind of way, actually ^^ To be honest - and not for the graphics or animation itself - I liked this trailer the least of all. Simply for two things that happened whoch kinda broke my immersion during the rain fight scene. Which is a shame, bc, as I said, it looks and flows very nice and all. But the one fight scene in the rain, no matter how well choreographed it all was, I just could not find it in me to like it. I'll explain what I mean, ofc. I say it again, but I have no idea about the actual lore of the game. So maybe there are some 'rules' or such that might explain the 2 things I have gripes about. 1: Why did she switch from her lightsaber to a staff/baton fighting style? I thought maybe she wanted to knock out, not kill the guards. But then she throws a knife and at the end jump stabs them, which to me very much looked like a killing blow. So that can't be it. Why the switch? I'd think a lightsaber as a weapon is superior to any other staff/sword like weaponeven if just for its omnidirectional cutting power. 2: She did a short move where she very quickly turned her saber on and off again (again, seemingly killing a guard with that motion). And long before it was much discussed for the movie fight scenes why they didn't use such a move, quickly switching their blades on and off again, which would help, for example, in 'passing though' other lightsabers blocks. Just deactivate the blade before making contact with another blade, so the swing won't be stopped, and reactivate it again behind the enemy's saber and kill your opponent. So, the explanation in-universe was that lightsabers can't be switched on soon after being switched off. Bc overheating and energy needs to fully disperse again and other small stuff. Ofc that was made mostly for easier time for choreographing the fight scenes and such, which is a valid reason. But it was explained in-universe so it makes sense why it never was done. So everytime I see it (like in Ep VIII) it feels ... Wrong. Off. (like that choppy framerate :P) If there is an actual explanation behind that, great. Then I finally would 'find my peace' and be able to enjoy this trailer like most others. :P But, like this, sadly, the only SW trailer I did not like :( But, aside from that, the rest of the trailer is as good as expected. Better even for the most part. I hope all that didn't sound too negative. I still enjoyed the video and your breakdown. And as the saying goes, you are only a real Star Wars fan if you hate at least one thing about Star Wars ^^ Or rephrased, Star Wars Fans are the biggest Star Wars haters haha (also For Honor!) But great if you found your new favourite SW trailer. Objectively it really is a good one, no question. It's always a pleasure to watch people enjoy stuff. And your reaction was very enjoyable to watch ^^ Looking forward to the next video :)
