Demeter Declension: Take Two

So, awhile back I produced a sequel to an arcana file called the Persephone Progression.  This one was moreorless a trainer type mini-game I thought could really delve into what a real training process might look/feel like.

It was a total FAIL.  It was grindy, opaque and just plain didn't work.  Rather than fix it, I was honestly happy to jump into the next game project.    It was quickly in the rearview mirror as I drove into Rent Control.

Until...a certain Chairman of the Board recently asked "so, what's up with that project?"

Uh-- I --um... oh boy.  OK, OK, no excuses-- I'm between game projects and want to always be working on content for my generous patrons.  So I re-examined it and have spent the last two weeks trying to salvage what seemed like the kind of project some of you might like.  And now it is ready for another round of consideration.

A few points.  It still uses RNGs-- yes, I know to some that's anathema.  That said, it felt like a necessity-- you're never sure what might just push a target over the edge.  At least now, different types of results are reflected in the dialogue.  I've also added new visual content and made sure it all works (I think it does).  There are different endings for each play, depending on what you want to happen and these endings are easier to work towards.  As for strategy, I was heavily influenced by The Prisoner's Dilemma-- keep that in mind as you plan your training approach.

OK, this one is opened up for Dirs+ for initial feedback-- I will cascade as I get feedback on it!

Dirs+, check behind the velvet rope shortly...
