Just a little update regarding content and my new open slot for recordings, yay!
If all works out and I've not been booked out on a job, I now have an extra recording slot per week and I'm thinking I want to dedicate this to TV, Films and Anime. First on my list is to finish Arcane Season 2 so expect some new episodes hopefully this week.
Once that's finished however, what should we look at next? Dive back in and finish off Secret Levels? Is it time to try out The Last of Us TV show? Is there a movie that is a must see? Something old or something new?
Please type below any recommendations you have. I might even start a new message board for just TV, Film and Anime requests titled TV Time. Once this builds up, I could potentially start a new YouTube channel just for these reactions and break downs. This is just an idea currently but for you guys, it will all be available right here, on the patreon.
I hope you enjoy the new branch I'm trying to grow.
P.S. I know I've tried making TV Time before and it didn't work but this time, I've moved things around in my personal life to make it happen. It will happen!

Would genuinely be suuuper interesting to get a Filmmaker's take on how movies, that are almost entirely shot in just one location, stay interesting and keep people engaged throughout the whole runtime!

The whole gimmick for all four episodes is that they're all filmed in a single take, no cuts whatsoever, it's extremely impressive how they've done it. Extremely strong story that has a total runtime of like 4 hours, so a pretty quick watch overall.

First, The Wind Rises — one of Ghibli’s most mature and emotional films. It’s about a young man who dreams of becoming an aircraft engineer, set against the backdrop of war and a heartbreaking love story. Beautiful direction, subtle pacing, and pure artistry. Second, Netflix’s 3 Body Problem — just wrapped season one, and it’s visually insane, with some wild ideas around physics, time, and humanity’s place in the universe. The tone and presentation feel like a mix of Arrival and Dark. And lastly, if you’re looking for an anime series, Vinland Saga or Pluto are both top-tier picks. Vinland is a grounded Viking epic full of pain, violence, and philosophy, while Pluto is a tense, slow-burn sci-fi noir based on a reimagining of Astro Boy, but way darker and deeper. All of them are rich in theme, tone, and visuals — definitely worth a look if you’re hunting for something meaningful to react to.
