DEATH STRANDING | [ALL CUTSCENES - PART 4!!] | BEST CHARACTER IN THE GAME!?

Last time I moaned about the game, this time... It wins me over big boy style! I've never known a game that makes me enjoy it so much to then stepping on my foot.

Looking at this part and the journey so far, what an experience, so many ups and downs and that's just me! Sam and his mission/journey... What a BEACH!

P.S > We are no longer watching Gamer's Little Playground. We have moved on to another channels video which is a first for me as I explain in the beginning. Much faster, much more enjoyable but sometimes, I do miss those little in-game moments, even if it's just a peek longer.

Its a bit late for this series but there's a guy on YouTube who puts up edits of games that are supposed to be stylized like movies and TV shows. Might be worth a look. Britton Thomas Filmmaker

I've had that before, I'm like please let me just play something. Never ending story mate.

I know right!? One day, someone will manage to make the perfect videos.

Goodness from one extreme to the other with absolutely no gameplay. It’s a shame you can’t find one that has that nice balance so you don’t feel like you miss out on the boss fights!

When I first played that long ass cutscene with Hartman going through all his theories for 30 minutes it was like 2am when I was playing the game and just wanted to do one last mission, now I’m sitting through this cutscene tired as hell just like, WTH is this fucker talking about πŸ˜‚. Glad I got this chance to actually watch it all and really digest it.

RE: Coming back. You are missing some context with how dying works and how voidouts happen. Don't worry though, even if you do play, Death Stranding is the sort of game where you have to push limits to find everything, as its entirely possible to complete the game without an unforced death and never see a player caused voidout or Seam transition. Dying has Sam repatriate in his body by reclaiming it inside the "Seam" which is Death Stranding's version of limbo I suppose. When you are shot to death or fall off a really big cliff you die and wake up with a Seam transition a short distance away. Its an inconvenience more than anything because you have to go get your gear back if terrorists shot you or find where the gear and parcels scattered when you went splat. This is why Sam being a repatriate is important: He can't die. Dying to BTs if different. "Ghost" BTs appear in specific areas and you play hide and seek with them and if you "aggro" them they chase you down and try to trip you so you can be dragged to a designated "boss arena" which is usually nearby. If the boss BT specifically eats Sam with a particular attack, you die and the vicinity of the boss arena is vapourised in a voidout. Sam dies to this and is once again does a Seam transition but you wake up on the edge of a massive crater without any gear. Just like the beginning of the game. These boss arenas are purposely out of the way and deliberately in places where having a massive in game crater isn't going to impede the story. People who have pushed the game to test how the system works, say the game resets a bit over time and the craters disappear. I image this is a technical limitation of the PS4 version because dynamic map changes like that would be tough to persist on a console as old as the PS4. The PC version and the PS5 version apparently do not remove the voidout craters but I have not tested this. There are few videos that explain it because its a "hidden" mechanic of the game most people avoid by playing as the game intends.

Seems like switching videos worked lol

And yes you can fast travel

I can't work out if the story is told rather shitty or the gameplay is too much which makes people drop off. The exposition too, it feels excessive. It's a tough one this tbh because the story really fires when it's allowed to burn.

Kai Zammit

Yes you spend three minutes waiting on Heartman to resuscitate, sitting in the lab. You spend the time looking around at the props in the room which shred a bit of light on what he is researching.

I'm in the group of folks that dropped this game rather quickly. I remember buying it shortly after it came out, think I got to like chapter two or something, got bored and stopped playing. From watching this series though, yeah, seems the story is damn good.

PulsatingVibe

Hell yeah, Norman Fetus time
