They had a lot packed in with this episode and normally what happens when they do, it feels rushed. Was this a little rushed, what do you think?
I've really enjoyed this series and I've loved the character development but my favourite thing has to be the visual narrative. The respect paid for every type of art style, CHEFS KISS!

2025-06-26 21:54:22 +0000 UTCOne theory fans of the show has, is that Powder is still alive. For 3 different reasons. 1. When the grenade goes off between Powder and Vander in the tower, if you look at the right moment and place on the screen. You can see Powder using her power to get away from Vander. 2. Towards the ending of the episode, you can see Caitlyn looking at schematics of the tower where Powder and Vander died. Those schematics showed side-tunnels people could use as exits as needed. 3. When we see the blimp at the end of the episode, it is a callback to the first episode of season 1. Here Powder remarks: "One day, i want to fly in one of those" when she is looking at the blimp overhead. Therefore it's believed she went away on the blimp at the end of episode 9 in season 2. Personally i think it would be a great ending for Powder, if she got away on the blimp and was able to start a new life. Maybe also seeing her again in a upcoming show, although i don't think the creators would do that, as her ending would be dismissed.

2025-06-26 12:04:53 +0000 UTCI would have agreed that it's rushed had it been my first watch. After my initial viewing I felt a bit disappointed. But then I decided to do a rewatch. Then I finally got it. It really does come together after a second viewing imo. There's so much built up over the 2 seasons that it really does benefit from it. 3 year gap between such an interconnected story didn't help. I love it though. And yeah Maddie was always in on it. If you remember back to the ceremony where Caitlyn was groomed by Ambessa - Maddie was the first one to pound her chest and egg her on.
