Overview
Currently the core system has been improved however has suffered some regression after integration with the random events database, priority lists, and the governor system causing some serious delays as some earlier systems created have been deprecated and are currently being refactored or replaced.
General
- Previously the cities were attached to the image and not the tile itself but now the system has been updated to contain both city and unit data so cycling through overlaps should now be possible.
- Units were not being reliably purchased when a city is owned by the player and a unit is not on the city node; this issue has been resolved.
- The issue where Hannah would consistently play videos will be replaced with an event log system which can be dismissed or viewed.
- If the same video was to be played, videos will no longer replace each other and the current one will continue playing instead of restarting.
- File I/O, save system and game settings have been inserted.
- Save settings have now been applied
- Game sessions will need to be redone for game save state.
- Requires testing for complete save state
- Tile information will now contain city, unit, and provincial data.
- If Tile contains unit data, it will show current health, strength and defense
- If Tile contains a city/special traits, will show defense and projected revenue.
Integrated Systems

- An NPC can be granted through either conquest, random events, or by completing objects and assigned to a government official or province.
Projections
Due to instability, will have to review each system which can possibly delay next build by several weeks, however the game is getting closer to completion. Expect a test build out before the end of June as these unexpected regression errors has caused a complete overhaul of the core game code. Despite these errors, previous bugs have been addressed and resolved accordingly as the old system wasn’t capable of fixing these errors.
SC Note- There are about 5 more chapters to completion of Earthly Masters, an SoW2 novelisation. I will work on these over next two months.
