I'm absolutely loving this and the fact we're crossing the realm of gaming and going into real life. Being that these are movies with real actors and cameras, I can talk more about it and relate to what's happening on screen. The problems of working with reality!
This was such a treat to check out for you guys and I can't wait for the next movie that we get to cover on the channel.

Since starting the channel, I don't get a lot of time to watch movies and that. Guess this is a good excuse to start again. Thank you for the recommendations!

2025-08-01 20:22:12 +0000 UTClooooove this film, i remember watching on BBC one back in 1990 with my uncle, i would of been 8. I loved it, esp that famous scene with john hurt! My mum was not happy with my uncle for letting me see it, and i remember not understanding what the fuss was. Funny really as my dad then let me watch Aliens no long after lol.

2025-08-01 17:14:48 +0000 UTCI have always thought that the struggles during the process of creating a movie, or any work of art really, is what gives them that raw and genuine feeling, even if you dont know about the specifics of it, it does translate to the screen somehow. And especially when I see classical movies like this I think about the kind of struggles they had to go through at that time to portray what they wanted, but I also think that if they didnt have those inconvenients and problems, would the movie be as iconic and trascendent as it is today? And by the way, I hope Alien Isolation comes around some time after this. I know youre not such a horror fan, but it would be cool to see if you think its a worthy sequel to the saga
