General update for February 2024

Hi All,

There's some stuff going on that I just wanted to let you know about. None of it should affect much but for transparency I wanted to share the latest.

So we're having a problem with the Unity game file. Without getting into the particulars, it now appears that I can't make game changes on my end but Thrawn does have access. Together, we should be able to produce the final planned release of the game-- v 2.0 "Loose Ends". Thrawn's been brilliant in being able to work out access on his end and I am grateful as always for his dev leadership.

That said, I'll be unable to assist on individual game file help, so apologies in advance. If you're stuck, I'd suggest you post your game experience in the game forum and we can try to take it from there. From experience, 95% of most stalled games usually do open up if you play through and all releases are play tested before release. That said, if you have run into a dead end, post about it so if there is a bug, we can address it.

Also- I have a big family event coming up this month so I'll be absent for much of this month. If you don't hear from me, that's why.

Exec-level supporters will be getting the v1.9 Gilded Cage release at the end of this month. Given the new access issue, the original release window for the final release- Loose Ends-- which was end of March may now have to be extended past that date.

Finally, the next game in the queue is Tinsel Town, a Company Man-like sequel to CMan set in Hollywood. A lot of initial work has already been produced and production in earnest will begin once Loose Ends has been released. As always, the plan would be to produce a playable demo-scale to get some initial response to.
