First up, yes, I took these photos on my trek to the Zoo yesterday, however, oh gosh... I kinda wish I hadn't gone cause going in the middle of summer probably wasn't my best idea π It was a fun time and I really did enjoy checking out the local wildlife feeling like fish outta water... but that heat though! π₯΅ Your boy was dying out there! And I'm like used to hot weather since I always grew up in hot climates but still!
Anyway, I wanted to report that I've been making quite the recovery from the withdrawal symptoms I had been experiencing the week prior, and I think either the new meds have helped to balance me out or my body just naturally found its way back to feeling "normal". Thank you all for your continued support and well wishes cause I seriously do read all your messages and comments and feel so warm and special to receive your positive thoughts! I really just wanna wish them all right back at'cha since I know I'm not the only one going through things!
But anywho, outside of the zoo trip and my health update, in this check-in I go a bit into my cat, Mikhail's, origin story as it was his birthday a few weeks ago (I mighta forgot to mention it when it happened... ooops) / And I also give ya bit of a tease on what I've been reading these past few weeks which I'll delve into on the upcoming podcast! π€
I hope these mini-podcast check-ins are fun to listen to as I think they're a cool like journal type approach to what's been going on my life and also give ya a fun peek behind the curtain too π

Though I totally get the exhaustion going in the summer π Iβve learned that the hard wayβ I love going to the zoo (thank you for sharing those pics, I always love seeing some zoo pics ππ»), so Iβve gone on my birthday a few times in recent years and it just so happens that my birthday is in summer (this last Sunday, actually!) so Iβve had my fair share of exhausting summer zoo trips π Also, Iβm wishing Mikhail a very happy belated birthday!!!! π₯³ It was really fun hearing his origin story!! He must really love you, having been with you his whole life (and, of course, it sounds like you really love him!) π I wonder if he sensed that you were feeling down after Marty passed and wanted to help you feel better by taking his place, in a sense, by being more lovey and baby-ish π₯Ή he sounds like a very sweet boy π₯° even if he scratches on your closet door while youβre recording π And itβs such a relief to hear your withdrawal symptoms have improved π it sounds like you were in your own little personal hell for a bit there π₯² hopefully things continue being relatively steady for you π€π»

Glad you were able to recharge a bit, but sucks that the haircut didnβt happen. Iβm in the same boat where I start feeling down when plans donβt go the way I want it to.
