[Podcast] Cozy Corner Ep. 7 ~ Let’s call this one The Butterfly Effect 🦋 ~ [Over 3 hours]

Well, we did it… and it wasn’t intentional either… a podcast over 3 hours! 🤣 I’m telling you, each time I sit down to record one of these shows I truly think there’s just not enough to sink my teeth in that I’ll even go over 2 hours… yet somehow someway we smash through that!

Though, I think the extended movie discussion on Only Yesterday might’ve played a bit of a role in just how deep I could get into a subject. But since it was our first ever movie club selection, I felt I wanted to dissect my favorite moments and showcase just why it’s such a beloved film of mine.

Well, I am still catching up all of the podcasts lol. I watched Only Yesterday when I was junior high or high school. By that time, I guess I was too young to get the meaning behind the story. I do love the story when the first time I watched. To me, it was more like bitter sweet childhood memories. But, as I grow older, I think I should watch it again, maybe it will hit me differently. 😇 As for camping! ⛺️ I love camping!! My parents and I often went camping when I was young. We didn't have all the fancy camping stuff like huge tent with living room and bedrooms, or comfy air mattress. No, we only have a small tent that barly fit in 3 people and 3 sleeping bags, that was all we get. We didn't even get pillows 🤣 I gotta say that it was definately not comfy at all, but it was fun 💛 Having time with family and doing things together. That is the most important part for me. ✨💕Plus, we were all exhausted anyway, who cared whether the sleeping begs are comfy or not 🤣

I do try my best to ensure each episode sorta has its own make and model, so to speak haha -- making them unique with their corresponding themes, so knowing they're appreciated with the in-depth topics is great to hear. Like sure, I could keep things simple and sweet, (Read as: shallow haha) but that's sorta not my style 😅 Oh gosh... I feel like my island is still a mess since I'm figuring so much out on where I want to place things around. But hopefully will share down the road when I feel it's ready 🏖 Though I dig your Tatooine naming -- is there a desert area on your island? Maybe a droid junkyard haha? BUT I also have a pumpkin patch... but it's year round cause I just wish it was autumn all the time 🍁 It legit makes me warm in my soul to know you enjoyed "Only Yesterday". It was definitely a special movie for me and I felt they did a great job as well when it came to presenting what childhood feels like, even down to the more less vibrant colors where memories seem to be a bit foggy and less detailed as the present. Also, that Italian title makes it sound quite poetic, thank you for filling me in on that! ☔️ *high five* 🦉 RavenClaws definitely were short-changed in the movies since they literally were given no screen time at all.... though I never saw the newer movies that took place in the past 🤔

I very much enjoy thought provoking topics so this episode was great, as usual 🦋. I bet your ACNH island looks great! I named mine Tatooine and built a pumpkin patch just for the autumn vibes ahaha. "Only Yesterday" absolutely floored me, it was so special, simple yet beautiful. It really captured how complex girlhood is in a very real and accurate way. The balance between nostalgia and growing up was what made my heart ache. For me it felt like a reminder that, while we all have to leave childhood, we should do our best to ensure childhood never leaves us 🎐. Also the title in Italian is "Pioggia di ricordi" which translates to "Rain of memories" and I think it fits perfectly, it's a definite rewatch. P.s. I'm a Ravenclaw as well ✨
