Hope everyone's been having a lovely October so far! Whew, it's been seriously such a busy time on my end that I've barely had any time to think let alone get on here and do a check-in as of late... BUT... I felt it time to remedy that 🎙️

After having my long 4-day weekend get derailed like right at its outset, I ended up sorta delaying a bit of my audio work a few days in lieu of just finally doing what you've all told me for so long -- REST! So that's what this weekend was all about: just sleeping, napping, playing games, watching movies, and boy, was it something I really needed 😭 That being said, my Japan is just a short 4 weeks away so that means I got no time to slack off between now and then. I've gotta get all my audio projects in a row so that way when I fly off to the land of the rising sun I can be fully in the moment, eating up all the ramen, snapping all the photos, and not worrying about work in any sorta way.

Anyway, thank you to everyone who's been telling me to slow down when I need to and for watching out for me whenever I've talked about needing a break. You guys seriously are the best when it comes to being super supportive and cheering me on 🥰

Now... back to business, we are just about at the half-way point in October so I hope you've been catching up on scary movies, prepping your Halloween costumes, and eating lots of candy corn (or other various sweets!) Let me know if you've been watching any of the movies I shared on my list, but also, don't forget to watch A Ghost Story for the upcoming discussion on the podcast next week too 🎃

Now, I gotta get going as it's about dinner time and I've got a rumbly in my tummy!
