Happy Halloween my lil' Ghoulies ๐ฑ
During the last podcast I believe I mentioned that I'd share a costume I did a few years back, and well, here I am getting back to y'all and making good on that! I've always been a big fan of Spider-Man ever since the original animated series in the 90's, so when they introduced a multi-ethnic version of the character I feel like I just have to go for it! Unfortunately at the time I didn't have the Jordan 1's to complete the outfit but I felt my Chucks fit well to give off that spunky teenage vibe โจ
Fun lil fact about this photo is that I literally took this in my bedroom with my closet behind me, so I didn't even used a green screen or anything to make this edit. And also I do believe it was taken with a smartphone too! Hey, your boy knows a little photoshop... and all before this AI business came along and just made it too easy ๐
Anyway, for those who celebrate the holiday (and the various versions of it like Dia De Los Muertos and so on from other cultures), I hope you take the time to reflect that scary things aren't always made to frighten us... but in a sense to realize the full version of our humanity and how we have so many emotions and sensations to appreciate -- to also look back on those who have left this world, to remember them with a smile, and to bring a little joy into the world even in dark & mischievous things ๐
So dress up, watch some spooky movies (or at least some that are theme), eat some yummy candy, and let's bring in the autumn season (or spring if your in the lower hemisphere -- I see you guys out there! ๐) ๐
