⚠️ [Reminder / Announcement] Changes to Patreon iOS subscriptions are going into effect this month ⚠️

I talked about this in an episode of the podcast some time over summer, but since that was a while back I wanted to make sure everyone got reminded as well as new subscribers too! Sooooo basically nothing is changing in terms of pricing, I'm not raising prices and neither is Patreon... HOWEVER, if you you use the iOS Patreon app and subscribe to a creator (such as myself 😇) Apple will now be taking 30% of what you paid and basically be giving me less.  If you're an Android user, this doesn't apply to you so you can basically disregard this post haha 😉 Anyway, back to talking about the "Apple Tax"... yeah, that's not cool, but apparently that's how the app-store works when it comes to in-app purchases / subscriptions.

Patreon suggests its creators to raise prices in order to make up for this loss, but I'm not gonna do that. I don't think it's fair that you guys have to pay more for something that you really had nothing to do with at all. But there are a few things that both you and I can do to help make it so your money goes towards the creators you wanna support (like me 🥰) rather than greedy ol' Apple:

What you can do:

You can subscribe through the Patreon website (which dodges the "Apple Tax"). Also, if you're an Android user you don't need to worry about any of this and you can continue to subscribe as you have this whole time.

What I will do:

Starting in January of 2025 I will be adding a new tier for those who feel comfortable paying a little bit more -- this new tier will include a few new added bonuses, like being a part of an exclusive discord server, having the ability to join me LIVE as a I record a script fill, and also hang out with me as I watch the movie club's movie of the month. Those are some of the added benefits I've been brain-storming, and I'm hoping the added tier will help to off-set the rise in fee's.

Note: If you subscribe through the iOS app and that is the most convenient way for you to do so then please oh please don't feel like you have to switch things up. I don't really wanna cause any headache among any of my subs, but just wanted to make sure that everyone was aware so that way if it's something you can do then I'd highly appreciate it.

You guys have been the best, and it's with your support that I've been able to keep up my recording schedule as I have, so I wanted to just make sure you all knew how much I value this community and the work I put into all my endeavors for you to enjoy ✨
