[Movie Club - Dec] We’re headed to La La Land for Christmas 🎵

If you’ve noticed by now, the movies selected for each month are usually ones on which I’ve got a lot to say. Problem is, I wanted it to also match the season and holiday, so I wasn’t gonna go for the classic go-to: Die Hard 🤣 (Although it is part of my Xmas-Day tradition for that be the opening movie).

I kept thinking and thinking and eventually realized that one of my favorite movies in recent years also happens to take place during Christmas (or at least, partly does)! Eureka! We found it! And so that’s how La La Land was chosen. Not to mention, I adore this movie from top to bottom, AND I’ve got a lot to say about its cinematography, the acting, the music, and the overall theme and lesson 📝

So, even if you’re not a fan of musicals, I ask you to give this one a shot cause it’s a lot more than its musical numbers. It’s a movie that stays with you and makes you feel something 😭
