I cannot guarantee that:
- You will or won't think they count as "poems"
- You will or won't think they count as "hypnotic"
There is no wakener and not much CW I can give because the zine's "effects" (such as they may be) are ambiguous. But there is a CW document included on itch.io. Otherwise, if you are adventurous and confident/comfortable in handling unknown hypnotic things, I encourage you to go in blind and curious. I promise at the very least that there is no: gender stuff, explicit sexual eroticism, or stuff about being submissive to me or etc.

This book
As though with hands
Holds your attention
With a touch
That feels just right
For precisely
As long as it needs to
And at
Your exact
Pace.
Doesn’t it feel nice
To be held?
Take your time.

Another rite of passage that you take
To slip beneath your fundamental self:
Belief of whether you might be awake
Is sacrificed and placed upon a shelf.
(But beware, because beliefs --
Those things that thicken thoughts --
Must
All
Be abandoned.)

Once upon a time
There was a person just like you
But before they were a person
They were a learning child
And after they were a person
They were subsumed inside themselves
In perfect
Trance

I heard a poem once
That went like this:
"This poem is in
The voices you trust
And the sound of the wind
Going with you."
And then I heard it
Follow you
Wherever you went.

There is always another part of you
That can become more still
And that stillness can always
Grow
As though
It yearns for the luxury
Of absolute
Lack
Of motion.
Dangerous
For knowing this,
One may spend a very long time
Doing very little else
But looking within
For parts
To slow down
And
Stop.

Let’s play a game.
This game is called:
“I bet you will finish
Reading this poem.”
If you lose,
You will be forever changed
Because it will become
A part
Of your
Memories
And
History
And
Self.
