Colt Python, a strong powerful gun with a heavy impact.
This asset realises that in VRChat with focus on realism and interactable gun mechanics.
Realistic reloading mechanics, load any bullet in any order you want and it will work.
Flick the cylinder out and in with a hand motion, or push it with your other hand.
Randomize the cylinder rotation by flicking it with your hand. Load a single bullet for Russian Roulette.
Outcome is completely network synced as well.
Flip the gun around in your hand and index finger, then fan the hammer by holding the trigger and pushing the hammer rapidly.
You can also wield the revolver in both left and right hand.
Complete freedom of use, comes with tons of menu options for accessibility. Entirely usable on desktop (although aiming may be a challenge).
Toggle several settings like:
Cylinder is entirely simulated! (it's quite a complicated system that handles it)
Additionally, reloading requires you to point the revolver upwards (using a fancy physbone method to determine the tilt of the gun in world space)
If you wanna unload full bullets, you press the ejector rod out.
Pictured here I have toggled the transparent cylinder on so you can see the bullets inside the gun.
Comes with 9 different premade textures to choose from. Easily applicable through the custom install script with a simple dropdown menu.
2 of the textures (last two in this pic) come with unique glowing bullet textures.
Textures created by MaximillianCat and Metalgod (aside from default one)
A custom install script coded by Cam makes installing the prefab incredibly simple and easy. All you need beforehand is Avatar manager in the project (and poiyomi shader) and then you simply open the installer, put your avatar into it and pick the locations where the Revolver will appear in hand and when equipped.
Then click Install.
Comes with quick dropdrown for materials setup as well as an uninstall button.
You must use one of the newer VRC SDK's which can only be downloaded through VCC, otherwise you are more than likely to encounter issues.
Poyiomi Toon Shader(recommended 8 or newer)
Avatar 3.0 Manager(can be installed through VCC directly)
OPTIONAL:
VRCFuryFury can be used as part of the install script, in case you want the parameters and layers etc, merged only on upload.

This SPP file has a ton of the textures and layers in it.
This SPP file just has the default textures.
This SPP file is just an "exploded" model, each part is split individually for easier painting
This is the FBX for the above
This is the FBX for the above, but without the full assembled revolver if you wanna bake AO
This SPP file is just for the bullet
Ensure you have:
Avatar manager 3.0 installed in the project (you can do so through VCC)
Install Poiyomi 8 or above
Ensure you are not on an outdated SDK (older sdks have different physbone behavior that is not compatible with this prefab)
OPTIONAL:
Import the "ColtPython.unitypackage"
When imported, a new toolbar thing will appear at the top as "Liindy" Click it and open the installer for the prefab you want to install
The installer has tooltips in unity that should guide you through the very simple process.
This just shows the hierarchy positions of various things for the revolver. You will not need this unless you are doing some advanced edits.

Please be aware this is a paid asset, and you are under no circumstances allowed to give the files to someone else.
