Nola is a comical character, serving to lessen the seriousness of the plot about getting magic and try one last time to convince the player that magic doesn't exist. Plus, she's a funny woman in her own right who enjoys Rodinka's company, which is the reason why she tries to joke around as much as possible. During some long dialog, I wanted to make Nola's skirt fall to the floor, but she would have continued talking without noticing it. First, it would add to the comicality, and if Nola turned backwards to Rodinka to lift her skirt, the player would see an erotic miniature; Second, it would have served the purpose of diluting a long serious conversation; And third, and most importantly, it would break the mental model in the player's head, who eventually begins to see Nola not as a woman, but as a simple picture — IMG_039. As soon as her skirt flies off, img_039 becomes a woman again, who wears clothes, and some of her clothes can just happen to fly off onto the floor. Even if just for a moment, the mental model collapses, adding a new perception of game reality that contributes to a more immersive experience. But I still haven't figured out where to put that moment... and I haven't drawn an erotic miniature. What do you think? Would you be surprised by a moment like that?
