The Tools Page on Itch.io
Added 2023-11-02 13:52:15 +0000 UTCI made an Itch.io project page to host downloads for mod tools and some other stuff for both Hex and Succubus Stories. Mod tools can also be downloaded from my personal website, but I want to try to migrate to using Itch.io instead, so I may remove those downloads in the future.
I also included "web players" for both games. While these are basically just embeds of the Itch.io version of the game in an HTML doc, the normal embeds provided by Itch.io are deeply flawed in several ways. I fixed those issues so I could create remote web releases of the game for other sites, like Newgrounds, without having to reupload the game files to those sites; these special embeds are the result of that work. These web players are provided in case you want to use them for something, but please don't host them anywhere public without asking.
Hex will eventually get mod tools as well, though the complexity of Hex means I probably need to make something a lot more involved, like a whole scene editor. I also have some other software and stuff that might be useful to modders, and I plan to eventually clean up for release. All of that stuff will wind up on this page in the future.
