Help me choose again!
Added 2025-03-12 06:03:21 +0000 UTCI took some of the feedback I was presented into consideration and came up with an additional option, presented here as option #3. Major changes include:
I tried to find a better image to match the poses, but I had to do some photo editing to make the two images look like they are in similar lighting conditions, but I do think the back-to-back look is better.
I made the font of the game title pinkish and used a different more stylized font, plus I centered it on the bottom instead of floating it to the side. I may continue to hunt for a better font. On one side, the simple font honestly looks more "professional" to me, but I do think something more stylistic matches the game's vibes better.
I do think the third one is the best so far and most likely to win, but let me know if you think there's concepts or ideas from the others I should mix-and-match into that.

2025-03-13 14:36:43 +0000 UTCFair enough. I think this might be a problem for some people, but again, the more important she is, the less of a deal it is. I think since it is the case, all options should be fine. I also like her design a lot btw. Also I'd say it is a text based game after all, so, I guess, it shouldn't be as important. Can't really say much more since I haven't met her yet.

2025-03-12 12:26:16 +0000 UTCI don't want to spoil things too much but the dark haired girl is a major character and looms pretty large over a lot of the game, so I don't think it's a huge problem. She's actually the only other character other than the MC to have ever appeared in promo art (https://outsiderartisan.neocities.org/succubus-stories/promo/update/090-lady.png), way back before the 2D art even existed. You don't play as her, but I'd say she is the second most important character in the game. If it becomes a controversy that the character doesn't appear early enough for some people, I can always switch the store page art back. I focused a lot of the marketing artwork for v1.0.0 on her in general because I like her design a lot.

2025-03-12 11:43:00 +0000 UTCI thought about it over a cup of tea and I like 1 and 3 BUT So I just started playing, just got to uppercity and talked to a guard (I'm here cause of Hex to begin with). My issue is that I dont know who this dark haired girl is. Typically the playable character is on the picture, or it is the most visible one, while other ones are companions/enemies, it depends, or girls if it is a harem. Considering all this, I normally would assume that dark haired one is the main playable character, so unless she becomes one and is for at least half of the game having attention on her if at all is kinda wierd and misleading. This confusion would be more than enough for many people to leave
