The oldest build of SS that exists.
Added 2025-07-23 13:00:13 +0000 UTCBecause of a snafu, I had to change the VCS service I used for SS's source code a few months into development. For this reason, I backed up the game's source code and a build of the game manually, then set up shop on GitLab. I really should have brought everything over including all the historical commits, but I was using a different software (i.e., not git) so the whole thing was complicated and as a result I lost some truly ancient builds. That means this build is the oldest build of SS that currently exists in this world.
I recently found it in my files and thought I'd share it with you! It's terrible and there's nothing really you can do in it, but maybe it'll be interesting to see anyway. We've sure come a long way...
There's a little more here than meets the eye. You can run on cheats in the settings menu to access the console, then use that to go home (type ":home" into the console and press enter). But nothing much is really done at this point.
